As part of my role within our research unit, I design symbols and produce a variety of visual materials that support different initiatives, ensuring clear, cohesive, and engaging communication across platforms.
Fish logo
Client: Water Research Group
Objective: To update a design that originated in 2013 by integrating the diverse taxa currently studied by our research group, reflecting the latest advancements and discoveries. The updated merchandise promotes our research, raises awareness of the taxa we study, and engages a wider audience with shared interests.
Outcomes:
- Created a visual that complemented and resonated with the research group’s logo
- Produced merchandise graphics for apparel to promote research visibility
- Integrated designs across a range of products to broaden outreach
Largemouth yellowfish (Labeobarbus)
Client: Water Research Group
Objective: To create an illustration of the Largemouth yellowfish (Labeobarbus) for the 2024 Fish Migration Day event organised by our research team, supporting public awareness of fish conservation in rivers and dams. To feature on promotional materials, including posters, t-shirts, buttons, and water bottles.
Outcomes:

Herpetology Health Laboratory logo
Client: Herp Health Lab
Objective: To design a versatile logo for a research group, suitable for presentations, posters, and apparel, representing the various taxa they study, as well as incorporating the abbreviation to establish a clear and distinctive brand identity.
Outcomes:
- Created a visual design that complemented the research group’s name
- Produced graphics for apparel to promote group identity and visibility
- Applied the design to create a GIF for email
